She explained that we were going to spend the whole period doing a creative writing assignment. On the board she had written ten writing prompts that we could choose from. One of them was titled, “The most beautiful smile I ever saw…” Being the crazy, obsessed Directioner that I am, my mind immediately went to Niall Horan. So I wrote a little something for him. Here it is :) The most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen belongs to a boy who doesn’t know he’s beautiful. And when I say beautiful, I’m not referring solely to his appearance. I mean, sure, he’s attractive. He has adorably messy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. But there’s something else…Something deeper than his looks that appeals to me. It’s his energy: the feelings of love and compassion that he emulates and spreads to everyone around him. It’s his passion: the dedication he has to the things that matter most to him, like his music and his friends. It’s his selflessness: the way he always considers the feelings of others before his own. All the little things he does make him special, but he doesn’t realize it. He has his insecurities and his little quirks that make him self-conscious, but I love him all the same. With a flush in his cheeks and a humble heart, he smiles shyly as the world calls him beautiful. And it’s that smile, that gorgeous smile of his, that makes him unique. When this boy smiles, he radiates with flawlessness. All of his insecurities and self-doubts disappear, and all you can see is joy and an undeniable love for life in his face. His smile is genuine, not forced or insincere. It is honest and pure and…beautiful.
